I am not sure about the way Moz rank websites but sometimes I think it's a bit confusing. As an example, it kept changing in 3 days by going up and down. In addition, It is not compatible with my Ahrefs ranking. Would you please tell me which one is more correct and accurate in terms of my website authority?

I was on another reputable seo information site and linkfool showed up, i checked it out and at the bottom site was an seomoz logo to insinuate partnership of some sort. Hello, Our site is struggling organically and one of the key factors (not surprisingly) is a lack of backlinks.  We have hired a content writer and are working on a content strategy to generate quality, relevant backlinks.  But this is more of a long term project. After reviewing backlinks to our competitors' sites, it seems clear that they are using agencies or services to generate backlinks (most coming from low quality sites).  I'm aware that this isn't a good long term strategy (although it seems to be serving them well at the moment). I was hoping the community could provide some insight on products or services out there that provide "safe" backlinking strategies.  I don't want to do anything that is going to harm us in the future.  I've read a bit on the hoth, and it seems fairly safe and potentially effective, but it's hard find much objective advice on the topic. Any insight is much appreciated - thanks in advance! Jason

Hi there, Our site has a DA of 73, MozRank 5.40, MozTrust 5.88, and over 45,000 external links.  We haven't done any offsite SEO before, we got to where we are today organically.  We're thinking about hiring a link building firm to help increase our rankings and we've received two proposals. Firm A offered to build us 30 links from DA 50+ sites over 3 months.  The anchor text will most likely just be our domain name. Firm B offered to build us 90 links from PR2+ sites over 3 months.  They have control over the anchor text. Given our site's profile, which proposal makes more sense for us?  Would either of these initiatives move the needle for us? Thanks.

I have three new sites all hosted on the same server in the same public html folder and each site is in a different folder inside the public html folder.  These sites are a listing of live music venues in different cities in Texas.  Should I link these sites together to increase page rank to each other and also put key search phrases in the anchor text and place these links in the text in the center of each page of each site to make the links more effective? Also, because the sites are about a year old they don't have many inlinks yet.  If i submit them to about 50 directories will Google not like this because there are way more directory links than natural links?  I've been told that it is trouble to have more than about 50% directory links compared to natural links. I'm looking for a reputable firm that builds high quality links to a high quality site. These links should be located on a page with high Page Rank/Page Authority and should also have high quality links pointing to the page. I am not looking for forum posts/blog comments or directory listings. Can anyone recommend a firm that they use personally who specializes in this? I've had a look through the SEOMoz directory, which is great, but if anyone could provide some recommendations to go along with that, it would be appreciated! Thanks.

When it comes to link building for a client how important is it to get on the phone when chasing links from other sites? Would you say this done all the time, half the time, not at all? Is this the SEO experts responsibility or the clients? Update: Really hoping to get an idea of how important this is to acheive good SEO results. Any chance the SEOMoz employees have any answers here?
