Hi, We have recently received the "deceptive content" warning from Google about some of our website pages. We couldn't able to find the exact reason behind this. However, we placed some script outside the HTML tag in some pages (Not in the same pages with the above warning). We wonder whether this caused an issue to Google to flag our pages. Please help. Thanks

Hi, I am based in the UK and in a very competitive market - van leasing - and I am thinking about using an Indian SEO company for my ongoing SEO. They have sent me some sample artilces that they have written for link building and the English is not good. Do you think that google can tell the difference between a well written article and a poorly written article? Will the fact that articles are poorly writtem mean we will lose potential value from the link? Any input would be much appreciated. Regards John J

A friend of mine has a pagerank 3 website that links to all my pages on my site on every page of his site.  The anchor text of all these links are the title of each page that it links to.  Does this hurt SEO?  I can have him change to the links to whatever i want, so if it does hurt, what should i change the anchor text to if needed? Reading these two articles made me feel sick. People are actually offering a service to de-rank a website. I could have swore I heard Matt Cutts say this was not possible, well the results are in. In one sense, its good these people have done this to prove it to google its just a pity they did it on real business's that rely on traffic.
