Keyword Difficulty and SERP Analysis Full report not working?
-
It's been a few days now that I am having difficulties getting a Full Report on certain keywords in the "Keyword Difficulty" tool.
It's been stuck on "pending..." for over 12 hours.
I also noticed that some keywords are returning zero exact volume when I know 100% that it's returning 5K+ in GKP.
Anyone else having the same issues?

Just to be clear and sorry to hijack this thread.
With the KW Diff and SERP Analysis page you can only get search volume from Bing?
Irrespective of the SE and selecting New Zealand I get no volume whatsoever?
With Google keyword tool been very unhelpful compared to previous version this has made life a lot harder!
Any suggestions as to best method to obtain country specific search volumes?
Bing Ads Intelligence via excel is about as good as i can find atm!

Hey Denis,
Sorry for the confusion! Full Keyword Difficulty reports can take up to 24 hours to complete after they are requested. I am really sorry that isn't more clear!
As for the search volume, we actually pull that data from Bing's keyword tool rather than GKP. Unfortunately, we are currently only able to provide Bing search volume because Google does not allow us access to their AdWords API. The search engine you select will be used to provide you with the top sites that are ranking for the keyword you are research, so you will see results ranking results for Google when you choose that search engine but you will only ever see Bing search volume. The search volume is not used to calculate the keyword difficulty score and it is just used to provide supplemental information about how many users may be search a particular term in general.
I hope this clears things up. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Denis,
I'm curious to know if others are experiencing this as well. I just tried a few different keywords, and all my reports are working ok. I'm wondering though if it's your specific keywords? You might want to send us more details here: http://moz.com/help/contact. So we can look into it in more detail.
Regarding the zero exact volume, remember the numbers in there are coming from Bing.

Should I exclude prepositions in tracked keywords of moz analytics?
I'm new to Moz. Just set up my trial campaign, and it had suggested many keywords. Many of the phrases that were suggested do not contain prepositions. For example, instead of something like "sporting good stores in Chicago" it suggested "sporting good stores Chicago" Today, I looked at the on-page optimization suggestions, which are (of course) suggesting that I remove prepositions from my page to rank well. Well, as you know, that is unnatural to the reader. But I suspect people are searching in higher volume, leaving the prepositions out. I know that if I were to search for a sporting goods store in Chicago, I would probably leave out "in." What should I do? Should I remove all the suggested keywords, and make them readable (which people are less like using in their search?) Do I go back to all my pages and try to optimize it for a keyword that is natural, but does not include a preposition (such as Chicago sporting goods stores) or should I be doing something else?

Duplicate Home Page in Moz Report
I recently ran a crawl report in MOZ for www.laddersfree.co.uk and it has picked duplicate pages for my home page. The two pages are www.laddersfree.co.uk and www.laddersfree.co.uk The CMS System my developer is using is Concrete5. If you look at the source code there is a Canonical <link rel="<a class="attribute-value">canonical</a>" href="http://www.laddersfree.co.uk/" /> I am very confused as to why there are two pages picked up in the crawl. Can someone offer any advice please? Thank you. Jason

Moz Rank Tracker - showing deleted subdomains results for entered keywords
We have recently deleted subdomains because they were causing duplicate page errors but now the Moz rank tracker is showing the subdomain key word results even instead of the exact url we entered. So for example wine cellar is showing up for a deleted subdomain (winecellar.vigilantinc.com) instead of the entered exact url of (vigilantinc.com/winecellars/) Please advise. Thanks!

Moz keywords tool obsolete?
It looks like Google is going to encrypt all user searches, rendering entire sections of SEO tools useless like portions of Moz. What's Moz's reaction to something like this? http://blog.hubspot.com/google-encrypting-all-searches-nj

Keyword Tool using Bing instead of Google
I'm trying to analyze some keywords, and I've selected 'Google' and 'United States' - but when the ranking comes back, it is showing up as the rankings for Bing. Any idea why this continues to happen? Thanks!
